How do I fix a broken psp memory card?

Last year I got a psp from my friend and the memory card was working fine until my stepbrother tried to hack it to get free games. He did something with the battery and updated it or something, and ever since then the psp had trouble reading the memory card, it only worked 1 out of 10 times, and everytime it doesnt work, it takes a while to turn on. It might be the battery, but I dont know.

Why wont my psp memory stick work?

I have a 4gig memory stick pro duo for my psp. When I put it in my computer, it doesnt show up. If I plug the psp up, it shows but but it says it’s read only. It’s never said that before. I use it this way all the time to put music on it. The operating system on my computer is linux mint 9. I tried it with another computer and it worked fine. It just says its read only when I use it on my computer. Do you have any idea why it says it’s read only?

Is PS Vita can download games like PSP 2000?

I want to buy PS Vita but some guy said that PS Vita still doesn’t have a hack and cannot download games like PSP 2000. He said PS Vita can only be played with the game disc. Can PS Vita download games like PSP 2000? The games are saved in a memory stick.

How to get pics from my portable memory device.?

I have lots of pics on my hard drive and my portable memory stick, I had to restore my PC to factory settings, but I don’t have the disk that came with my camera and can’t install it, therefore I cant get the pics back either from my hard drive or the memory stick, the camera is a fuji film A180, can you still get the installation disc somewhere.

why my PSP memory stick is not detecting games after formatting?(without a previous back up of files in it)?

im using a PSP 2001 CFW 5.50 prome-2(cracked), i formatted the memory stick.i forgot to back up the psp folder in it.after putting the games in the ISO folder the games are not being shown in the psp>my sony magic gate duo 8gb< is working properly(i've checked both in PSP and PC) i formatted it in NTFS file system. now im really pissed coz im having psp games,8gb mem card, a psp and still im not able to play games. can any one please help me with my problem???:-(

PSP bricked, solution?

i have PSP 1000 and its bricked (when i try to turn it on all i get is that green light that disappears after 30 sec or so) and i’ve just bought a Pandora Battery and a 4GB memory stick.. but i have to change the 4gb memory stick to a MAGIC memory stick right?? so this “unbrick” will work???

P.S. when im ready to unbrick i put magic memory stick first then pandora battery and i hold the L1 button right????????????????????

PSP Upgrade and Disk question?

Hi, I recently dug up my old PSP from a few years ago. I tried inserting games/movies, and after awhile, it says, “Disk could not be read.” It’s version 3.50…is that why none of them work?

Also, I tried to upgrade it from the website, and when I went to download it onto my 32 memory stick duo, it said there wasn’t enough room. So I deleted everything and there still wasn’t enough room.

Can someone please tell me what I have to do to get this thing to work?!

PSP Memory Stick Problem?

I have two memory sticks; one 4GB, one 8GB. They’re both Sony labelled. The 4GB works flawlessly. I am running CFW 5.0 M33.

The 8GB, however, seems to have a few… problems.

I would copy games and homebrew onto it, and SOME of them would work. After I got a select few on it to work, no more would show up, even though the file was on the stick and there was plenty of space left over.

Troubled, I formatted the memory stick and tried again. This time, a -different- set of the games showed up, I copied the same files, but instead of, say, games A, B, and C working, games C, D, and E showed up on the PSP.

I formatted again and tried again, with similar results. However, I have now noticed that when I place anything in the PSP/GAME folder, it is automatically deleted. No, I have not played Rockband: Unplugged. Any help?
