Is it just me or is Super Smash Brothers Melee better than Brawls?

Is it just me or is Super Smash Brothers Melee better than Brawls?
I played brawls for the first time last week at my friends house and I was really dissapointed. Not only did I not enjoy the graphics but playing it on the wii controller felt wrong. I think Melee is way better and I still play it this day. Nobody can beat me.
